Distributing Launches New Healthy Measures Program
Regal Distributing in conjunction with
Network Services, a member-owned organization of over 75
Healthcare/Janitorial distributors is proud to announce the
launch of its Healthy Measures Program. Did you know
that one out of every twenty hospital patients are infected
with Healthcare Acquired Infection (HAI) every year?
This equates to over 1.7million infected patients every
calendar year. At an average cost of $14,000 per
incident these infections become costly for acute Healthcare
Facilities, and cause more than 99,000 deaths every
year.
The goal of Healthy Measures is to partner
with Healthcare facilities to create a healthier environment
for patients, staff, and visitors. The focus will help
define best practices for improving hand hygiene and surface
sanitation. The Healthy Measures program will validate
current procedures and help create a standard for
cleaning. In addition to testing facilities for cleaning
procedures, Healthy Measures will offer training programs and
